It doesn't pick the same words for any given dictionary; it uses the same mathematically optimal algorithm to pick a word each turn, no matter what the dictionary is. In fact, the algorithm doesn't care if those are words, numbers or even colors (like that fun board game).

I'm sure you can find a better ad-hoc solution for the Wordle problem set itself. Good luck!
